Plant marker labels

I love these plant markers so far. I'll be anxious to see how they stand up to the winter. When I read about them, It stated that the writing would not wear off. As far as I can tell, that is the case as it has rained hard here a couple times and I can still see the writing on the labels. Even if the writing does wear off, I will be able to tell where I have planted. I have lost many perennials because I would plant them and then pull them the next spring thinking they were weeds. Hopefully…

Pros
  • These are very sturdy and have a great writing space. These are my fave that I purchased this year
Cons
  • The tags do not have any sort of adhesive backing for easier attachment

Pen Sucked on my review.

I chose the white markers that came with a black inked pen. I planted about 14 - 16 different flower bulbs, marked them with the name of the flower, and set the pots out into my garden. I checked daily to make sure the plants were good - and they still are.but after about 4 weeks I noticed the names of the bulbs are MISSING! The ink from that pen is GONE and now I don't know which is what type of bulb. Hard lesson learned about faulty material!

Pros
  • Perfect for my little garden! Bought a separate white paint pen though that worked better.
Cons
  • The tags are not biodegradable or environmentally friendly

Highly recommend them!

Works well and is very easy to use. The white pen really shows up well on the black background. These pictures are after a tropical storm came through and rained non-stop for 24 hours. They survived downpours and high winds. I highly recommend this product to anyone. They will definitely make my garden easier to organize and keep track of what plants are.

Pros
  • Its size is great. Works great, when watering my plants the marker does not come off :)
Cons
  • The plastic material of the tags feels flimsy and cheap

Reusable with a heck of a lot of elbow grease

Love the way these tags look in the garden - Makes everything look clean and uniform. A couple things I don't like: (1) They can get brittle and crack over the course of a couple summer months, and (2) they are only re-usable with a significant amount of elbow grease. Another reviewer suggested alcohol wipes to remove the marker, but I found this to be less effective than dish soap with a lot of scrubbing. Even then, I can still faintly see the marker.

Pros
  • Very happy with the product. Made with high quality material.
Cons
  • The tags do not have any sort of design or aesthetic appeal

The sharpie came dry

I have bought this item before. I did not track if the sharpie was sun- stable that time. I used a couple of different ones and unable to say which ones faded. Based on the reviews I decided to buy again and this time I marked the sharpie and was determined to track how it stands against sun/ rain/ snow. Unfortunately, I'm not able to do that because this sharpie came dry and unusable. Very disapointing! The labels are sturdier then the other brand I bough.

Pros
  • Have a brother P touch label maker. The two together are very good. Like to label all my seeds
Cons
  • The marker ink smudges and smears easily

Garden Labels good for me

I had purchased 2 brands but 3 colors (white, yellow and black). I prefer the black over the white and yellow and will more than likely replace the other colors with the black. I would like to see these labels taller - 6-1- inches (especially to label trees and bushes). Time will tell about the durability and how long the white marker will endure the elements.

Pros
  • The narrow end of the tags makes it easier to insert them into seed starters
Cons
  • The tags can easily become entangled or damaged during shipment and handling

Thess are what they purport to be--garden markers!

I just received them so I cannot rate their durability or factor the value. I'll let you know next year after their use has been tested.

Pros
  • The waterproof material guarantees that the tags will not be damaged by water
Cons
  • The tags are not suitable for use in indoor or low-light settings

Not quite what I was hoping for.

These plant markers are small and quite flexible. However, they are waterproof and that is great. I was thinking of returning then but decided to try them out because the price was right. There are more than enough markers for even very large gardens.

Pros
  • Pots, Planters & Container Accessories
Cons
  • The tags can easily become tangled or disorganized without proper storage

Working as expected

These are easy to use and plenty of space to write on. They have just a bit of flex to them that makes them less likely to break. I could stick in the ground pretty easily. I used a white oil based paint pen on them. Easy to write on and look good after 4 months outside. There were some that had flaws on them. small corners missing, etc. ok for my yard, but not if I were using for gifts or crafts. But it wasn't that many. Good product so far, would order again.

Pros
  • Cleverly designed – The T-shaped design is more conducive to inserting into the soil and will not harm the roots of the plant
Cons
  • The tags do not have any sort of labeling system for different types of plants

My favorite plant tags ever

Super cute, especially if you have nicer handwriting than me. Love the white chalk paint marker combined with black tag . Every single plant I own is now dated and labeled with these . Threw away all my old tags . Just love them

Pros
  • The plant tags help you keep track of plant varieties and their locations in your garden
Cons
  • The tags can easily become dislodged or damaged by pets or wildlife

Readable size: my feedback

The labels are a great size. I am able to write easily and read what I wrote easily, smile. They haven't been in the garden long, so I can't speak to their durability as yet, but they have every appearance of lasting a good long time.

Pros
  • the size is good for my seed starting projects.
Cons
  • The tags can easily become dislodged from plants and get lost

Good for Indoor Plants

These aren't super sturdy or strong, so not the best for outdoor plants, but they work great for indoor plants. They are small labels but look nice.

Pros
  • I absolutely love these. Easy to write on and see. Great value!
Cons
  • The tags do not come in a variety of colors for easier plant organization

Great Labels bad paint pen

Great labels for sure, used them all over the veggie garden and pots. The paint pen leaks though. Ink holds up very well to sun and water, but the pen leaks while writing on the labels.

Pros
  • Good product for making your plants
Cons
  • The tags can easily become tangled or disorganized without proper storage

Details matter. on my review.

The included white marker was udderly worthless. Why even bother including it? What a waste. The tags seem fine but I've only had them a couple of weeks. Time will tell.

Pros
  • Gardening & Lawn Care
Cons
  • The tags are not suitable for use with edible crops

knowing what you plant

These are great. the sticks i had were breaking and falling apart. these are going through rain storms and heavy watering and look just as good as they did when i put them in.

Pros
  • The markers are non-toxic and safe to use around plants
Cons
  • The tags do not come with any sort of instructions on proper use or care

Good, inexpensive solution with included pen

UPDATE APRIL 2020:These have worked well for labelling plants in my Chicago streetscape. After two years, the white paint is a bit faded but legible. When the new batch arrives, I’ll reinforce the markings on the old ones. Sometimes kids step on them when they’re covered with snow but they flex without breaking. Easy to push into wet soil; when things are dry, I jab an old knife in the ground to make a channel for the stake portion. Adding a fifth star since they’ve proven to be reliable and…

Pros
  • 8.98 x 6.77 x 1.42 inches
Cons
  • The marker pen is not suitable for use on other surfaces besides the tags

Revainrating 4 out of 5

LARGE AMOUNT WITH ADEQUATE SPACE FOR PRINTING

THE PEN INCLUDED TENDS TO NOT BE CONSISTENT. IT MAY BE TOO DRY.THE NUMBER INCLUDED FOR THE PRICE IS FABULOUS. Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • Works perfect for labeling the garden.
Cons
  • The tags can easily snap and break during use

Stands up to Southern California sun

This picture shows these markers after a full year in my Southern California garden. I used the included pen to write the labels , and I’ve just brought them inside to rinse them off and use them again. Extremely durable and I’m impressed!

Pros
  • They hold up well, even in heavy rain, no fading or running....Highly recommend!
Cons
  • The writing on the tags can easily become illegible with time

Nice size plant labels for container gardens.

These plastic plant labels were perfect for my needs. I used them in my container gardens. The white marker pen was conveniently included and served the purpose. I would order again if I needed to, but should have a lifetime supply with 100 pieces. Come to think of it, I should share the extras with my next garden club meeting. The plant labels should be reusable.

Pros
  • Love them
Cons
  • The tags can easily become tangled or disorganized without proper storage

As pictured in my review

These are great. The only issue I have is the white pen that they come with is awful. Buy your own white paint pen. That's my review.

Pros
  • They are sturdy and the writing lasts through rainstorms
Cons
  • The tags can easily blow away in wind or inclement weather
