Straight up, ridiculously large for a bedside table. It is 33.75 inches tall. It really works better as an accent table. However, we bought it for our cabin in the woods (large one-room house). The height is actually an advantage for us because we are spatially limited. While it looks chunky next to a queen bed, it's fully functional and serves its purpose, especially for our needs. Two drawers are good because they can store things that can be used all year round. For example, in the bottom drawer I keep spare underwear, socks and bras for everyone in case someone runs out or needs something else. The top shelf is high for a bed so I use it to store games and puzzles. We use the 2nd shelf as a typical bedside table. In the other drawer we stow the essentials. Although it is high for a bedside table, we can use it as one and use it for other things and it doesn't take up much space. Alloy steel and MDF wood frame. The wood has a rustic look that matches the other bedside table we bought and the look of the cabin. This one took a little longer to assemble but is larger and has 2 black fabric drawers instead of 1. The kit comes with all the necessary tools and assembly instructions. What I like most about Sorbus, besides the fact that their products are well made, is that they are reasonably priced. This is an old customer.
