My daughter used one of these duffels for a long overseas trip. The bag was brand new at the beginning of her trip but 3 months later there were tears in the fabric and the handle for rolling the bag was broken. The bag is super large and holds A LOT which is a plus. However you have to be careful to stay within the 50lb limit for air travel since you can fit so much in.

I researched heavy duty wheeled duffle bags for a 9 month volunteer trip through Mexico. I'm 2 months in. The wheel on the side that has the pockets has basically collapsed so that when I'm pulling the bag it flip on its side. So annoying. Also since it flips on its side, it has started to wear thin on that side. It has also worn thin to where there are actually holes on the one end. Also the one one handle has torn away from the strap. I have not overstuffed the bag as I am only 5'5" 115lbs…

We have a college student and this is perfect for move in and move out. Keep in mind our student is a male, so he doesn't have as many clothes as a fashion model, but this bag carried 100% of his closet, including five pairs of shoes. It's giant, and even when packed full it was under 70lbs (max for airlines) Dependable wheels, strong handle and fairly easy to pull.

This bag was great for my purpose. It was a little big, but all my SCUBA gear fit in easily and the weight did not exceed airline limits. Zippers work well. I like the three wheels on the bottom so the weight of the gear did not bend and wear out the bottom and the pull-out handle made dragging all the gear so much easier. I am a little worried the airline might try to charge an oversized bag fee, but if the stated dimensions are true after it has been packed, then we should be golden. Just got home from a trip with this rolling duffle. It serves the purpose but doesn't seem to be very sturdy. It's true to color and is large and a bit overwhelming for me at 5 feet tall and petite frame. The bag build or structure whichever length you choose is very spacious bag accommodating a large amount of materials. The bag is "not" made to handle industrial use as in tools or metal containers etc. It is great for cardboard boxes items and soft sided objects clothing etc. Items with some give or flexibility to some degree. Hey, for the price, this is an EXCELLENT bag. Holds two oversized computer screens still in their packing boxes, modem, cords, power outlet, etc with room to spare.
