Bag held up well! - my new review

Now that I've put this duffel to the test, I can review it. I needed a BIG bag to take with me on Cycle Oregon, as they only allow one bag for ALL of your stuff. I did quite a bit of research, and finally settled on this bag, as it seemed to have good reviews and no complaints about it falling apart, like what i saw with other bags I looked at.So, for a week it was tossed on carts, thrown into a truck with 2000 other bags, and otherwise manhandled. I stuffed it to the seams as well, as I…

Pros
  • Multiple compartments for efficient packing
Cons
  • The weight of the bag could add extra charges to your airline ticket

Great Capacity, Weak Seams

I loved how much you can stuff in this. It fit everything I needed in multiple flights. Unfortunately, after my second flight, the outside pocket totally ripped and it was beyond the warranty period. Otherwise, I loved everything else. What a shame.

Pros
  • Water resistant exterior
Cons
  • Might not be sufficient protection for fragile or valuable items due to its size

Nice Bag except the color

I got this bag for my son to carry his hockey goalie equipment in. It is plenty big enough for all of his pads, helmet, jersey and all the extra stuff he always seems to need.It would have been a 5 star except two issues. The minor issue is the handle does not lock in place it just pulls up or pushes down, no button or anything. The more important issue is the bag is supposed to be red, it is more of a pink. Now I am red-green colorblind so its fine to me, but when he got to practice his…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction to support heavy loads
Cons
  • Could be subject to damage during transportation if not properly secured

Meets my needs for my opinion

I received this item ahead of schedule but was initially confused by the seeming quality of the item. Inspection after unpacking revealed small holes and frayed stitching. The frayed threads presented no real problem once clipped and research suggests the pinholes along the bottom & sides are likely for drainage. I intend to use this for "field conditions" so some further testing revealed that this product will meet my requirements for rugged conditions and air travel.I like the size of this…

Pros
  • Functional design for easy access to items
Cons
  • May not be the most fashionable choice for some travelers

Great size - my new review

Great size (bigger than you think!) and great price. It had to be sent with oversized luggage. But its advertised as a hockey bag, right? I bought it to pack my college student to take to study abroad. When we arrived in Europe-the front pocket was completely unseen on the bottom edge. Luckily we did not have anything in that pocket. We will not likely use the outer pocket. I was going to return it, but my husband already recycled the box and its so large that buying a box for it to fit its…

Pros
  • Perfect for long-term travel
Cons
  • Open design could make it difficult to access specific items without unpacking

Like Dr. WHO'S Tardis, it's bigger on the inside.

This thing holds all of my clothes that took two suitcases to hold.and there is still more room. It's packed up to 49.8 pounds with so much space left. If you have big bulky stuff to travel with, this is your bag.

Pros
  • Rolling design allows for effortless transportation
Cons
  • Could be difficult to use on public transportation due to its size

Packs a lot and durable for airline travel

This bag is a great value, and I recommend it. We took it on a 2 week trip to Europe fully packed. It's notable feature is the three wheel design which offered stability despite the weight load we put in the bag.

Pros
  • Provides lots of storage space for families traveling together
Cons
  • Could be difficult to store while on a trip, such as in a hotel room or car

Buy This Bag If You Hate Yourself!

This bag is great for those who suffer from surplus joy in their life. I'll take up my umbrage with this item word-by-word:- Gothamite: Uh, the bag I received says Archibolt on the side. "Gothamite" is nowhere to be found. What kind of shell game are we playing here?- 36-Inch : Five stars on this, this bad boy is a full THREE FEET tall. Whoever left the review indicating that you would, quote, "likely not incur an oversized bag fee on any airline" must have been filling theirs with packing…

Pros
  • Can accommodate up to 50 pounds of luggage
Cons
  • Could be challenging to lift onto baggage carts at airports
