I received this item ahead of schedule but was initially confused by the seeming quality of the item. Inspection after unpacking revealed small holes and frayed stitching. The frayed threads presented no real problem once clipped and research suggests the pinholes along the bottom & sides are likely for drainage. I intend to use this for "field conditions" so some further testing revealed that this product will meet my requirements for rugged conditions and air travel.I like the size of this bag and it seems to handle the heavy load (56 lb) well enough even hauling "off-road". The product may not be 100% designed for what I will put it through but take that as satisfaction, not a complaint. For its size and capacity, I am satisfied with this product.
