Worst Bag Ever - Don't Buy!

This bag has numerous defects. I used it to move my work clothes and some household personal items across the Atlantic. I took a train to Chicago, flew to Doha, then flew to Sofia and took a bus to Varna. Mid-journey, I was so fed up with this baggage that nearly bought new luggage. I strongly recommend that everyone avoid this purchase for the following reasons: 1. The wheels are crappy. The "axle” is non existent and all three wheels ride on flimsy plastic. It will no doubt bend and you’ll basically be riding on one, maybe two, wheels. That one wheel, constantly making the only contact with the ground, will be chewed up fairly quickly, and from the looks of the one I have it's made of the cheapest plastic they could find.2. Because of the rickety wheel and axel structure the bag will roll and twist over on the slightest un-level ground. Which basically means that once you are out of the airport the bag will flip over every time you have to cross the street. This was a HUGE hassle for me. I can’t count the number of times it happened. The last thing travelers want is another problem while moving large bags. This is mostly because the bag is far wider than the weak wheels.3. The bag’s seams are single stitched with light thread that breaks easily. The sewing has come loose and holes opened up in the front of the bag and on the side pouches. Had I been carrying anything in those pockets, it would be long gone now.4. The cloth is poor quality. It’s not durable canvas or rugged enough to withstand being pulled around on it’s broken wheels thus holes quickly appear in it from rubbing against pavement.5. Additional reasons not to buy this bag. A. unless you are filling it with a duvet and pillows it will certainly be overweight for any airline. B. the length and size are too large for carry-on for Amtrak. The conductor might reject it and force you to check your bag (this means a 24 hour delay)C. Multiple smaller holes can be found all around the bag. They look like burn holes from cigarette ash. D. The three pieces on the bottom for sliding are thin and flimsy plastic. They are already bent and will likely collapse soon.

Pros
  • Can serve as an extra closet on extended trips
Cons
  • The size could make it difficult to get through customs in some countries
