Bought to fix an 80's Swatch with a cracked strap. Assembly was easy, tools were included. Yes, the material is softer than the old strap (see other reviews). So if you're looking for a stiffer feel, look elsewhere. I personally prefer a softer stripe so this was perfect. The color is amazing! I have the Swatch camouflage and the green stripe matches the letter t.
