For those of us who have trouble getting our fingers through the threaded hole in the TV connector, this is a tool. The "F" connector used on TVs is 7/16 inch in size. Hex nut for tightening the cable. I personally think it's a terrible design, but no one asked me. BNC is much more convenient to use. But I digress. This tool slides over the cable and turns the nut. However, this only works if the cable in question does NOT have a large molded strain relief, otherwise it will not fit. The cable must be smaller than the nut. I don't know why it was 12" but it was cheaper than the short ones so I bought it.
