My solution was to pop out the plastic cap with all the bulges and push and stretch from the inside after trying to fit it on as best as possible. I finally put it on and washed my hair today and wow! Compared to the diffuser that came with my hair dryer, I can tell a CLEAR difference in how much better this diffuser actually distributes the air compared to my old one. It took about the same amount of time to dry, but I had much better curl definition than I've ever had! I'd do my part for the soft silicone construction, which forces you to be gentler when drying, as well as the wide circumference, which makes it easier to pick up hair in good areas. I am sooooo happy with this product and would definitely recommend it.
