Review on 🏎️ MOTOR METER RACING Universal Tachometer with W Terminal for Alternator, 3-3/8" Diameter, 4000 RPM, White Dial in Dash by Herve Latreche

We replaced the engine on an old tractor and the new engine didn't have a tachometer. So we have this one that works by hooking it up to a generator. The generator already had a third connection, so all we had to do was make the connections. One wire for power, one for ground and one signal wire for the 3rd blade of the generator. The instructions were a bit sketchy but good enough to get him hooked up. The package includes a small tool that can be used to calibrate the sensor. This leads to my only real issue with the touch. Calibration is easy, but the calibration setting is very delicate. It took me a few tries to get it right because it was easy to overstep the right setting as the slightest movement made a huge difference in the RPM displayed. However, once I calibrate it properly, it runs very, very smoothly. , and still remains calibrated.
