Where to startTurbo Lab of Amera has a pretty patchy reputation on the BBB with LOTS of complaints, this is it ONLY kit I could find for my turbo. Bought to restore my precision SCM50 DSM turbo. And almost nothing came. I was able to reuse the shaft bearings, thrust bearing, compressor housing/backplate gasket and brackets on the turbine shaft and thrust collar. Everything else is still in the box. The thrust bushing/spacer was different and the thrust washer in the kit was too small and had too much travel, none of the bearing snap rings would fit the Chre. They were too big and there was just no way to snap them into the grooves. Also the bones that hold the compressor housing on the base plate were too small for this housing. I didn't use a new balancing nut or any seals because I already have a new one. I will keep them for parts. Overall, save your money and buy a turbo that can also be easily restored.
