1. The fabric stretches. It is not 100% cotton. There is some elastic or spandex in the weave.2. The front pockets are made from some extremely thin and fragile looking material, that is 100% synthetic.3. The patch pickets cannot be latched or closed despite the cute buckle on the flap. The black tape that is supposed to hold the rolled up shorts in place attaches to the flap of the pockets. That means you have to unroll your shorts to get anything out of the pockets.Good fit - look comfortable, but not suitable for tough country hiking.
