I use these to cleanly distribute oil for many reasons (but not corn). The oil comes out easily and I can squeeze out some to spread on a hot pan or pancakes. It keeps my fingers oil free and it's handy to keep the oil clean. Since it is also dishwasher safe, it is very easy to clean. Due to their size, they also fit in the oil compartment of the refrigerator door.
