Media could not be loaded. I'm embarrassed to reconsider something for use outside of its likely original or built-in purpose, but feel the need to do so just in case someone else buys it for that fancy weirdo purpose. They are not ideal for boxed spinners. My kid wanted them to make it with their own hands. I should have read the description better as they don't claim to be perfect for this purpose. They are shielded and very greasy/sticky inside. The stickiness and lubricity make them not ideal for spinners, and as the attached video shows, they don't spin for long at all. 1 star for that. I figured they would be fine for normal, more mechanical use, so I'm giving them an average 3 star rating. Just not really the best choice for kids indulging in the crazy weirdo craze. I soaked the spinner in some Park Tool bike cleaning solution to remove the grease, which worked well. I removed the shield on a few, which worked even better. It spins well with no greasing, it just works more than straight out of the box.
