I have purchased two different brands of fabric drawer drawers and would choose Household Essentials for the simple reason that both types of units I have purchased have a thin each Metal support had drawer. So the mDesign dresser is a good choice and I would choose it if it was significantly cheaper. Underwear and handkerchiefs as well as small appliances (e.g. hair dryer) can be comfortably accommodated without sagging. Baskets from both brands are almost identical in design, so there is no problem here. I really find that the thin metal bar at each level not only provides significantly more drawer support but also stability and this makes Household Essentials dressers a superb product. In addition, this brand offers chests of drawers with "real" handles. It depends on the price, I regret buying this brand because I would have paid more for household products. I personally think it's worth the 25 percent premium for the quality.
