I bought a size small. I'm just a little shorter than 5'5". 121 pounds. The dress was as described. I feel like on a person who has a smaller build, by American standards, the dress can be a little tent-like. I bought this to wear to a wedding where the bride and groom requested the women dress modestly. This dress is modest. But it's pretty much free-flowing, which made me look a little silly. Smaller chested women won't necessarily feel beautiful / proportionate in this style. My husband said I was trying to impersonate a table-cloth. I suspect a person who is tall, or has a fuller figure wouldn't feel "lost" in the dress.
