Fly! In summer they drive the horses crazy! I really like the new taller design as it protects even more of the horse's very sensitive legs from these bloodsuckers. One of my horses is very sensitive so I knew it couldn't handle the heavier gauge mesh of some fly socks. They are soft on the inside, durable on the outside and easy to clean. Some people complain that they fall off. In these stockings they can be pulled very tight without irritating the leg. First I fold the top flap very tight, then the bottom flap again very tight and then I close the middle one. They stay up all day on my tiny footed Quarter Horses. I recommend to everyone
