We usually choose good, fluffy beds for our dogs, but dogs usually get really gross after a month or so. Even after washing after a few months, they are no longer good, so they are thrown away. We've tried it and so far we're very happy with it. Dogs don't seem to prefer a fluffy rug more than this one. They use anything as long as they know it's theirs, which is why one of our four dogs always sleeps on it. Even after a dozen washes, it still looks the same as it did when we had it. Since it is used practically 24 hours a day, I would say that dogs like it a lot too. Excellent purchase.
