Its a lot dryer and seems more solid than the other brand did, but it still works just as well and its really soothing! lol The only thing I like about my sand, vs hers, is that mine doesn't stain my hands when I use it.

I may have more fun with this than my son. He's 20 mos and he loves to smoosh it and knock down the shapes I build. Obviously he's too young to be left alone with it, he's tried to eat it a couple of times. It's easy to clean up, since it sticks to itself. This stuff is great. Got delivered while my daughter was at school and her grandmother was over and curious so she checked it out. We ended up playing with it for like 2 hours no joke. And she ordered some for herself said it was relaxing, haha. Anyway its good, just as good if not better than the kinetic brand. If it gwta cold in ahippk g or you leave it out and it hardens a bit just spritz it with water and it comes right back.

I bought this for my two year old, she loves to play with it. Compared to other kinetic sand this one is harder to mold (not sure if mine came too dry or if this is how the product should be). Well, for one, I was expecting there to be a lot more. I bought a 15quart tub for this. it's about the size of my hand. I'm a school counselor so I was hoping to use this in my office. Looks like I'm literally going to have to buy 20 of these to even get enough for students to use. Love the color though. More of a real color.

This sand is great! Finding a kinetic type sand that is the perfect balance between staying solid and being "flowy” is hard to find. I work as a counselor and kinetic sand has been the most popular item in my office to play/fidget with when talking for both kids and adults of all ages! Some find it fun and entertaining while others get a more soothing/calming affect from it. I bought this for my little sister as one of her birthday gifts and she said she loves it. I was reading and in the description it said it was kentic sand but no where on the box did it say anything about it. Great for the kids, and adds a new twist on old school play doh. Doesn't dry out like play doh, still seems to get a bunch of flecks and pieces all over the floor just like play doh though. That just the joys of having toddlers though haha

Bought this for my 2 1/2 year old son. He adores it. I also purchased some sand molds but those were mainly pointless. The sand is too "hard" to really press clear shapes into so you have to pack the sand into the mold and then dump it out.
