I bought this case and the Zing Pro Zoom case. I prefer Op Tech D Pro Zoom. Pros: I found the camera easier to put on and take off than the Zing. It goes well with my camera and accessories. Looks nice. I've bought many other Op-Tech products and they all hold up well. Cons: To securely close the lid, there is a valve with 2 latches. You wrap the cover around the back of the chamber and secure the valve with two latches. I'm not a fan of snapshots. They were easy to attach, but velcro would have been a lot easier. A strap is attached to the inside of the case. There are two ways to attach the cover to your camera so you don't lose the cover: 1. A piece of leather that attaches to the camera by screwing it into the tripod mount. This part is attached to the strap with a latch. I could see both ends of the skin coming loose - the side with the screw could come loose or the latch could come loose. 2. A ring that can go around the lens. This ring is attached to the strap with a bar. I don't like it when things are attached to the lens and the latch can come loose. I came up with my own way of attaching the cover to my camera. There is a spot on the underside of my battery grip to attach a strap. I had an extra set of Op Tech Uni Loop connectors (https://www.amazon.com/OP-TECH-USA-1301062-Uni-Loop/dp/B0010HA6A6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1485137755&sr=8- 1&Keywords =optech+uni+loop). I attached one end to the bottom of the battery grip. I attached the other connector to the strap by threading the strap through the connector's loop and snapping the two latches on the strap together. Using universal loop connectors, I connected the two pieces together. I think the weakest point is where the latches are attached. I'll put a few stitches next to the strap as a precaution in case the buttons come loose. You can use any type of strap to attach the cover to your camera. I also attached a photo with an extra strap from one of my cameras. If I were to use this method I would still sew on a few stitches next to the clasp. I like the uni loop method. If the lid gets in the way, I can just unclip the clips with a loop. I love this case although I attach it to my camera differently. I lowered the rating to 4 due to the use of bars.
