Description of OP TECH USA Digital Nature

Easy-access neoprene cases stretch to fit most film and digital cameras. Unique retaining strap attaches the case around the lens or to the tripod mount so that it is out of the field of view when taking a picture. Great for use in the field as the case closes around the neck strap so that the strap is still usable. Non-marring snaps on the bottom of the pouch securely close the flap cover. Made in the USA.

Frustration with camera cases

I was looking for a $160 Nikon leather alternative for my D850. I like to carry my gear in my backpack when I go camping and I need a layer of protection against cuts and dents. I measured my camera and ordered a Digital D-Pro Zoom based on that and via the OpTech product finder. Was very disappointed. The product itself looks like it will work well if sized correctly. Unfortunately, the one I received was about 3/4 inch wider and was even wider at the bottom right corner where it sticks out…

Canon 70-200 sizing information in this review

I have a 7D with 70-200 F2.8. Here's what you need to know to install. Lenses only: Perfect fit. Just a little tight. Lens + Hood: Close-fitting. You have to stretch on the hood and around the camera. Can still be used. I wear mine like this sometimes. Almost useless. Rotate the triple mount towards the flash camera for it to work. Rotate the tripod mount toward the flash. That's how I like to wear it, although I take a lot of photos on the beach. Oh, pictures are a bad choice. Velcro or hooks…

perfect for Canon 5D4 with 24-70 lens attached

There is plenty of room underneath so if you are using a battery grip it will fit. Otherwise my Canon 5D4 with 24-70 lens is perfect. I use two different side straps and had to cut a few holes. a round hole at the bottom when using the Sunsniper Rotoball strap and a small hole at the bottom when using the Optech strap that attaches to the side of the camera and to the Optech tripod plate. Because the material is neoprene the holes don't rub and the small tweaks I made don't affect the look…

goldilocks. I found a bag for the camera and it's only size

I will not review the product until it has been used for several months and there is really a chance Listen. This camera bag was just what I needed for my 2 week trip to Europe. I have a Nikon DSLR and prefer a telephoto lens when traveling. And with a longer focal length lens, it's difficult to find the right camera bag. The camera case attaches to the camera so you won't lose the case when you take your camera out of the case, it stays attached. It was the perfect combination of camera…

Great fit/protection

Great size and fits consumer DSLR (DSLR zoom size). Fits my D7100 with 18-300 and 1.4 teleconverter. The clasps feel solid and my only complaint is the lack of a sewn-in loop for hanging. There is a strap that attaches in a loop, but it doesn't feel as strong as a loop sewn on. However, very good cushioning and fit. Update: I used it to protect my D7100 in my carry-on on a recent overseas trip. I also kept the camera inside while strapping it to my shoulder strap. It is easy to detach, attach…

I love this case for my Panasonic Lumix LX100m2!

I bought this camera case for my Panasonic Lumix LX100m2 on the recommendation of a friend. I took my camera on a trip and photographed for about 13 days. I could definitely understand why this is a good camera bag. 1) It is very light and therefore easy to carry. 2) It has a soft, semi-spongy and rubbery texture with sufficient thickness. Cushion, and so I thought it would absorb some of the energy, and it's easy to grab, and it can prevent slipping. 3) It has 2 buttons at the bottom - I…

Two thumbs up. fits bags and cases

I bought an OP/TECH D midsize soft case for my Sony A6000. I've tried different cases and camera bags, but none of them satisfied me. OP/TECH that I'm happy with. I have a Sony SEL18200LE lens on my camera. The case fits the lens very snugly when the lens hood is inverted and fits loosely around the camera body. Because it fits loosely on the body, it can be taken off very easily and quickly. I also like the latch attached to the tripod thread. I attached the bag to a snap socket with an…

Why it's good for bags and suitcases

This bag is good for travel, it can well protect your camera in your suitcase when traveling or in the back seat of your car. Unfortunately, it lacks a belt clip or strap of any kind, making it somewhat inconvenient to carry your camera when you're not using it. If you want to let the camera take control when you're not shooting, your only options are carrying a case in your hand or hanging the camera around your neck with a lanyard. If it had been clearer to me that there was no belt loop, I…

Fits Canon T3i with battery pack and Tamron 16-300

I bought this case and the Zing Pro Zoom case. I prefer Op Tech D Pro Zoom. Pros: I found the camera easier to put on and take off than the Zing. It goes well with my camera and accessories. Looks nice. I've bought many other Op-Tech products and they all hold up well. Cons: To securely close the lid, there is a valve with 2 latches. You wrap the cover around the back of the chamber and secure the valve with two latches. I'm not a fan of snapshots. They were easy to attach, but velcro would…
