Why it's good for bags and suitcases

This bag is good for travel, it can well protect your camera in your suitcase when traveling or in the back seat of your car. Unfortunately, it lacks a belt clip or strap of any kind, making it somewhat inconvenient to carry your camera when you're not using it. If you want to let the camera take control when you're not shooting, your only options are carrying a case in your hand or hanging the camera around your neck with a lanyard. If it had been clearer to me that there was no belt loop, I probably wouldn't have ordered it. HOW IT FIT My Olympus Stylus 1 fits perfectly and the camera slides in and out of the case fairly easily. The sewn-in strap seems to be in an odd place, making it more of a hindrance than a help. And the clasps, which many others don't seem to like, are definitely a little clunky, but they snap firmly in place. However, I am concerned that the images have very sharp edges that could damage my camera if I'm not careful. I would prefer velcro. HOW TO FIND THE RIGHT SIZE OP TECH has dozens of different sizes and shapes of these cases, which is good, but how do you know which size to buy? They do a good job of giving accurate measurements on their product pages, but I've found this isn't always enough, some cameras (like mine) are oddly shaped and not easy to measure accurately. One of the most valuable things OP TECH does is provide an interactive sizing guide on their website so you can enter your camera's exact model number and they will recommend what size body you should buy. For my camera, they recommended the Medium D style which, had I just gone by the advertised dimensions, I would have hesitated to buy. Turns out it fits well based on the size chart.

Pros
  • Easy to use
