An alcohol swab must still be used!

Many people in the reviews may not be following the general instructions for gel nails. Whether you use the top coat alone or not, you must always use a cotton swab or pad soaked in alcohol to wipe the sticky surface to finish your gel nails. Without them, it remains sticky and peels off. These pens look great to me.
