Review on π Enhance Aquarium Filtration with Hydor Professional Zeolite Canister Filter Media by Jill Jones
Excellent filter media for other purposes
Typically used in canister filters for mechanical/biological filtration. This ceramic medium is dimpled and slightly roughened to further increase surface area. I did a little experiment and put it on the bottom of a mix of Leica Inorganic Orchid and Volcanic Stone. I like the fact that the increased surface area retains moisture for the roots.
