Let's face it, this is one $30 briefcase, you know you're not getting a premium product. However, I think I would have liked it to last a little longer than three months before it started to show signs of wear. I bought it for an internship so I didn't have to bring a backpack to meet clients and as such it works adequately. Mediocre quality locks often freeze or bind, but eventually open reliably. The body of the briefcase has started to warp under the weight of the laptop and some laptops where it connects to the handle, but I don't think anyone else will notice. The exterior of the case is cheap, but only if you look closely. The inner pockets are good, I have nothing to complain about, except that I would have liked a closable pocket for small items like an extra stylus. I ended up using my phone case for this, because who puts their phone in a briefcase? In short I would highly recommend this to anyone who is entering a professional or office setting but not sure how long they will stay there. Interns, temporary workers, people in uncertain times. Or maybe you need a temporary measure while you save up for a matching portfolio. I would not recommend this to anyone experienced where they need an attaché. UPDATE: It's been five months and the little rivets securing the open briefcase are worn out. Now it is held open only by gravity.
