I have had this case on my iPad mini 4 for almost 3 years and it has held up great. In fact, I am buying another iPad Mini and will buy this case again. IT'S DURABLE - The silicone body wraps around the corners to protect your face. In most other cases this does not happen. I am careful with my iPad but it has been dropped a few times and the case has done its job of protecting it. Apart from a few scratches on the back, still in very good condition. I had no problems with the volume button and was able to install it without any problems. I use my iPad for reading, web and video streaming and have had no problems. The only downside to this case is that I only have to use my Apple charger (I know I should be doing it anyway). Chargers from other manufacturers do not always fit in the silicone space. A completely insignificant problem.
