Review on HEiL Sound PROSET-3: Premium Closed Back Studio Headphones - Pro Set 3 by Roberto Manzer

Having used the Koss Pro 4/AA for over forty years I wanted something more comfortable (the old Koss silicone fluid filled ear pads shed mucus). by price. I appreciate the fact that Heil didn't create an artificially differentiated phone line to save on costs or add unnecessary frills. These are your headphones. The bass blew me away at first. Wow, this is getting really slow! But there are really detailed tops. After a few hours of listening and getting used to it, I found that the Heils headphones offer an intimate listening experience that's a lot less tiring than Koss or my everyday Panasonic headphones. I am very happy with my purchase. A variety of musical pieces were used for the assessment – jazz trio, classical guitar, organ, fusion jazz and rock. The first record I listened to was Charles Lloyd's Tone Poem (my first record was on Heils) - so relaxing.
