I love Ekouaer nightwear and the other three styles of their kimonos that I have previously purchased. I wanted to love this kimono with its short sleeves and simple draping, but that's rare. I have a dark gray environment. The color is very nice. A fatal flaw - there is no extra material (to put on) between the drawstring and under the pretty short sleeves. This pulls the fabric under the sleeves when the drawstring is pulled - the fabric is pulled too tight under the armpits - and the drawstring on the sides too high. I recognize the fatal flaw of poor design and don't expect a large size to help. In fact, the other issue was that despite being oddly tight under the armpits, it slipped off one shoulder. If you're comfortable with the straight, boxy look, it's roomy enough to wear with thongs - you just can't pull it any tighter. Top. If you want to wear it loose and unbuttoned, you should be fine. I don't want to wear it either way so I'm sending it back for a refund. With so many choices at Revain, Ekouaer is a trusted brand and I am usually very happy with their products. I consider this a rare failure so will buy from this brand again. Kimono can be worn, but not for its intended purpose. Since I can't use this kimono at all, I only give it 2 stars.
