I am a beautician. We were trained by a tweezers rep on what makes their tweezers different. The tweezers sent to me are NOT Tweezerman tweezers. Real Tweezerman tweezers have a flat "block" near the tip, so when you squeeze the tips, they grip the hair tightly. This block is also textured to give it more support. The pair I was just sent are hollowed out at the end so no matter how you press they can't physically grab anything. I've even tried something bigger, like a piece of rope. He just can't believe it. I have my original pair and they aren't even the same shape. In contrast to these, the original tweezers also had a black cap. These will return. I won't pay $23 for tweezers that literally don't grab anything. Absolute divorce!
