I have previously tried another brand of trimmer that falsely advertised their ability to cut. After this experience, I reluctantly decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. Now they are ready to use, but they have an adjustable blade and can be reduced to zero if desired. I've looked through a lot of pictures looking for blades that seemed to have a blade adjustment screw and this was one of the only trimmers in this class that had one so I took a chance. As soon as I got them I tried them on the default settings and they don't really cut it. In fact, they got my facial hair, which wasn't cool. After getting used to gaps quickly, these trimmers have become my facial hair clippers, which I use twice a week. Even with the adjustment, they're not very sharp, but they're definitely capable of giving a strong and precise line. They have great run times once fully charged and have never died while cutting. They are easy to hold in hand and being very thin they are easy to see when working on parts around the clipper chassis.
