Okay, first let's talk about what they aren't. They won't turn night into day. This isn't first-rate equipment either, it's the best there is. Clear? Good. It's less than $15. They are supposedly waterproof. They give off a fair amount of light. They are easy to install. It was also my first off-road headlight installation. I've installed stuff like this (amplifiers, stereos, etc.) but never used it. It's really not difficult. Just a few things to make sure you're doing the right thing. There are many instructional videos on YouTube. If you only install these lamps, you don't even need a relay box (just a switch). I would recommend a relay, but a good quality switch can easily handle the amount of current they draw (I know because I also installed a similar set on the back and didn't use a relay for them). I used a relay for this setup because I knew I would also add a light bar to turn them on, but they just don't need it. We'll see about the durability. I will change my rating. I installed them on my 3rd gen 4Runner with a minimal plastic cut out on the bottom bar of my bumper. My state requires a front license plate so I had to work around this issue. For this purpose they are perfect! So far, so good.
