The purple strap that came with my Charge 2 was a fun but main piece of junk that kept separating from the FitBit device. I had three such groups. I get a large size so I don't have to detach the slide via a magnet to take it off my wrist or put a charger on it. The magnet is extremely strong and has never failed during use including shoveling and heavy gardening. I bought the rose gold finish and was very happy with the look. However, like any coated product, it will begin to deteriorate over time. With heavy use and almost 24 hour daily wear, I change mine every five or six months and sooner if I need to wear something. Due to its flexible mesh construction, it collects dirt and dust and needs to be cleaned regularly. I just use an old toothbrush and soap. I will continue to buy this group until my Charge 2 drops dead.
