DO NOT buy this. I've been using e-collars for many years with no problems. I've done extensive research and know how to use them properly, but in this case it didn't matter. I bought this in March 2020 and so far have had no problems (that I've noticed). I took my dog to this park yesterday and I am aware that he is an amazing dog and I only use electroshocks in emergencies where he could be injured. I used it ONCE yesterday and she got an electrical burn from it. This is on the FIRST level, this should not have happened. I've tried it on myself up to level 5 and have felt nothing but slight discomfort. It was fitted correctly and not too tight. I only noticed the burns today when I was stroking them, so how many times has it gone wrong without me noticing? This is my worst nightmare, I feel awful doing this to my dog. Please don't buy this. Even in the most experienced hands, this particular device can be harmful and unreliable. I'm not sure I can trust a cheaper e-collar. I assume it's "Dogtra". It was worth it to comfort my sweet dog who was patient enough to let me poke and nudge her to find out what it was. Please test your dogs if you have used this.
