This mount does the job as well as it can. Great magnetic force, fits snugly in my car's air vent and looks decent in my car compared to some other options I've considered. The only downside is the price. Anyone thinking about this should know that it does NOT charge your phone, it's just a magnetic mount with no wireless charging. I knew this when I bought it, but $40 for a basic mount is a bit pricey in my opinion. I still give it 5 stars because it works so well (assuming it stands the test of time). do not fall while driving. I trust Belkin to make good products because Apple sells many Belkin products directly in their stores. Some of the other mounts I looked at had issues with weaker magnets, cheap construction, or poor vent fit. I don't need wireless charging as I already have to connect my phone to USB to play music in the car, but there may be better options if you're looking for a charging solution. To install. It fits easily into my car's air vent and stays secure without rattling or shifting like other mounts I've tried in the past. This is perhaps the most important factor in a car mount for me. It appears to be a newer version of the Belkin MagSafe car mount (compared to the very large square mount with tons of reviews here on Revain). I took a chance as the form factor looks a lot less bulky and I'm glad I went with this model despite having very little to offer at the time of writing. Magnets have the perfect strength in combination with Case MagSafe. My phone was perfectly safe for 4 hours of driving and I never had to worry about resetting. I like the convenience of being able to hang the phone on the mount with one hand, without even looking. This mount is much more secure and comfortable than the magnetic mounting plate system I had to install on my previous iPhone X to get the same functionality. The strong connection also makes it easy to adjust the mounting angle. A minor inconvenience is the cable management solution, which is extremely cramped for anything but standard skinny cables. I use a braided cable which is a bit thicker and was very difficult to secure in the cable holder behind the mount. I would like more flexibility, but it doesn't bother me. Overall it would be easy if it was $10-$15 less, but I can live with it and spend a few bucks more knowing I have at least one reliable mount.
