You will need your own screw for assembly.

Okay, you're probably wondering why I went to all this trouble for the towel rack, and the answer is this. was the only one i liked and he was in front of me lol. As mentioned in another review (so I was prepared for that possibility), the screw provided for mounting is too short. At a glance you can see that it ONLY protrudes past the base and certainly not enough to screw into the rack. Luckily my husband keeps spares handy and we were able to find a suitable screw (after cutting it off). Another photo I took shows the screw we ended up using alongside the one they used. The difference in length is ridiculous! They have no quality controls at all!? Another tip: Be careful not to overtighten. This is one of those cases where "if you turn a little too far it will spring back onto the thread and you'll relax a bit again." Well that might be because we had to cut the screw ourselves, so was They certainly aren't straight and smooth from the factory, but chances are you'll need to do the same. In my opinion it took too much trouble for the stupid towel holder so just know what you're getting into before you order.
