I ordered one of these for my wife. Several issues prevent this "good" product from becoming a "great" 5-star product. Best quality. It's all made of two or three pieces of metal that are welded together in certain places to keep them from falling apart. Most of our welds are smooth with no burrs as buyers have noted. However, where the two ends of the metal meet in two different places, the quality is poor and there are sharp edges that could potentially catch a thin scarf. I think a little smooth tape around them will be all we need to get the job done for my wife. However, the manufacturer should be aware of this and understand that people with expensive scarves must have an absolutely smooth product. Next is the hanger size. Our cabinets have prefabricated cabinet inserts that were made in the late 90's. Surely many of you have the same thing - brown chipboard partitions with round aluminum rods for hangers. The hole between the end of the hanger and the bend where it becomes straight is too small to fit through our hanger bars. And when I say a little, I mean a millimeter or less. I was able to pry open the hanger hole with a couple of wrenches and brute force - the metal is very hard and strong, but it's bent so we can barely slide the hanger onto our bars now. Those of you who don't have the strength or tools to do this may want to make sure your hanging rods accept this. If your hanger bars are thicker than 1-3/8" like ours, then look elsewhere. They appear to have been made for rods no bigger than 1-1/4". If the manufacturer made the hanger straight down it would fit easily, but this added flexibility means this item will not fit over many hangers. If they fixed both of those issues, it would easily be a five star hotel. Product because it is solid and lasts forever. We were able to modify ours a bit to make it work, so we're keeping it. But to be honest, if I had known about these issues beforehand, I wouldn't have bought it.
