Very disappointing Kitchen and Dining

Based on other reviews I thought this was an update to my previous slicer. The previous one was Prepworks which worked fine but was a little warped or something in the dishwasher. enough that it "sticks" when I slice the apples. In any case. miller? miller? this thing. I'm really surprised I haven't cut the joint off yet. I've come close to that many times. I liked the idea of the V blade which could be good on a sturdier device. But it feels like this thing is falling apart with every hit. And the adjustable blade depth doesn't hold up well. You have to use your thumb to keep it in place or it will slide forward during use. They tried to get a little creative with a multi-purpose press or what they call a sliding part. but it's not big enough to put more than one pickle in, and there's no grip/texture to use if something slips underneath. totally useless. I've been able to get almost decent results with the Prepworks slicer's "press" but I'm not losing skin just because of the green slicer with the cool V-blade. Went back to Prepworks which works fine for now as I apply a little pressure to "bend" it while using it. still better than this Mรผller failure. It was truly one of the most disappointing experiences of my life. there were so high hopes and plans for it. Thank you 2020
