I was only half convinced when I bought this item. Part of me thought it was stupid and I could just put my laptop on top of some books or a box or something. NO - this thing is truly life changing! This is definitely one of the best purchases I've made in years! Really allows you to use your laptop with the ergonomic comfort of a desktop. Sitting (or standing) and using a computer with good posture is SO IMPORTANT (ask anyone in their 30s with chronic back and neck pain). Using a laptop inevitably involves hunching over the screen. NOT with this thing. Pair it with a wireless keyboard and mouse and you'll feel like you're working at a desktop station. It's very durable, yet so light and portable that it's easy to walk around the house with it. I even used it while sitting on the couch at my desktop. LOVE this thing!
