I bought this cable because I needed a 90 degree charging socket. The braided cord makes it very strong and durable. This cable eliminates the "flex" and "noise" you get with regular straight cables and ends up lasting much longer. get.Note: Some of these 90 degree cables may interfere with your connection to your case as you will need a longer USB part. It was really trial and error for me until I found the right cable to get the clearance I needed. So if you're using one of those very thick, bulky cases, you could be in trouble.
