I saw this kitchen gadget on Kiki Foodies Instagram and wanted it. I needed something that would grind without having to raise the Cuisinart to 13 cups. This works very well and handles carrots and other hard things well. This is a very durable and reliable tool that is made with high quality. One side slices and the other slices thinly, so that's great too. I had many different shredders including mandolin types and didn't like them except for my Cuisinart. But this thing is so big and bulky and I don't want to clean all of these parts unless I have a LOT of shredding to do. This little tool comes in handy for light sanding. The blades are sharp, so keep your hands off.
