Major design flaws in electrical equipment

The pipe was right in the wall where I needed the junction box and there wasn't a bolt nearby. It's heavy and solved the problem, but there are serious drawbacks. Is it expensive. Also, compared to the instruction videos I watched, the manufacturer changed the rear serrated mount to a mount with a single center screw instead of two shorter staggered screws. This made the handle weaker and more difficult to install as you have to keep the claw attached with 1 LONG screw while trying to insert it into the hole at an angle. IF YOUR ATTACHMENT IS ATTACHED THROUGH THE CENTER POST, IT WILL NEED THE SCREW OR BE TOO LONG FOR THE DEPTH OF THE BOX! (See photos for an example of B-Pillar mounting style. This is not a photo of an actual pancake box.) It should have 2 offset screws and slide out in the middle. In the end we had to choose another device. More time and trouble. Finally, my wall is textured and uneven, and 2 screws could have helped pull the high side tighter against the wall. As you can see from the photo, the box is not flush. Luckily it's so high up and no one notices.
