I had a rhinoplasty in December and this device saved my life at night when I was switching from contacts to glasses. I was afraid to go 6 weeks without glasses because I wear them every night, but this item was comfortable, light and convenient. I had no problems with the shaft breaking or getting dirty. If the pad is dirty or has skin on it, wash your face. If you exfoliate and moisturize, this shouldn't be a problem at all. I have successfully completed 6 weeks of treatment with this pad and would highly recommend it to anyone undergoing rhinoplasty!
