You won't believe how easy this hitch makes moving trailers with the JD Gator. It's also great for the front point of the tug. This hitch receiver costs much less than dealer JD. It's mostly welding, no molded parts, but the quality of the weld is there. It is generally very well built with quality finishes. The screw holes perfectly match the Gator frame. The screws that came with my receiver hitch were grade 5. The mounting plate mounts easily flush with the Gator frame foot. Please note that it is difficult for large hands to reach behind the frame support when pushing the bolts through. The receiver hitch, when finally installed, slopes down at a very slight angle; while I was hoping it would be more parallel to the ground for aesthetics. Assembly time 20-30 minutes including tool collection and cleaning. This is definitely a well built receiver at a very reasonable price! Be one with the earth and walk light!
