For the most part, this works as promised, but there are certainly a few things that could be improved. Especially considering the relatively high price. Pros: - Aesthetically, it's beautiful. It perfectly matches the look of the Mac mini and goes very well with the Mac-centric setup. All data ports are stuffed with 10GB, so performance isn't left on the table considering it's still USB only. Cons: - Documentation. In terms of initial setup, while the guide is simple once you know what you're doing, I feel the installation process could have been broken down better for both drives rather than just the 2.5" drive. The drive bay is small and not well ventilated. Under heavy use, the discs will definitely get hot inside. I think an active cooling solution would be better. I really don't recommend installing two drives at the same time if you use them heavily. If you decide to install two drives, you need an external power supply unit, and currently there is not even a cable for this power supply unit.
