Review on 🚲 Sunlite Gold Tec Front Rack: Reliable Bicycle Storage Solution for 26"/700c Wheels by Daryl Barton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great shelf I think. The time will show!

I may have given this unit 5 stars for the assembly and ease of installation, but my use is somewhat unique. I got on an e-bike that I had built with a front suspension fork, disc brakes and fenders. If you install the standard V-Brake setup I think it will be very easy. All parts were correct, contrary to some of the other reviews. What I had to do was a little more difficult. For those wondering about the suspension fork, I needed a vise, #8 fully threaded, #8 with 32 nuts and washers, two 1 1/2" 90 degree elbow brackets, and two stainless steel hose clamps. Operation: Bending Using the included strut bracket in a vise to match the fender mounting hole, bend the S shape into one leg of the corner brackets in a vise Cut the fully threaded coupler and adjustable mounting nuts and use until centered.Had earlier I have a full size touring bike with a large windjammer fairing attached to the frame with four stainless steel clamps. Hasn't been a problem on numerous transcontinental trips across the US. So I think two clamps will suffice for this rack mount. Really like this frame Functional, good looking and inexpensive.
