I bought it and used it redesigned to run the Nintendo Game Cube and Nintendo 64 console on two different current generation TVs without composite connections. The picture was good and using this converter couldn't be easier. The only problem I had from time to time was the sound from the console lagged behind the image on the screen. It was distracting and annoying at times depending on the type of game I was playing, but I found that simply turning the converter off and on again for a while fixed the issue. Overall, for the price, this is a great converter for playing classic consoles on modern TVs.
