Review on Chaco Chillos Slide Black 14 by Sean Fabacher

*Update* Chaco sent me a replacement for my problem below. Upgraded to 4 stars as they are pretty good, hopefully the 2nd pair will hold up. *Update* They died in less than a month of reasonable use. The structure of the sandal broke when holding the strap. I can go back or see if Chakos guarantees them. The rating will be updated accordingly when the issue is resolved. I bought these because I previously had a sport version with a seat belt on my child's back and thought it was great. I've just worn them for a full week and I really like them. The straps loosen over time, but that doesn't really bother me. The straps sometimes twisted a bit when putting them on, but the adjustment of the straps is good compared to regular flip flops. The support initially felt a bit too much as I usually prefer cheap slides/flip flops. Feet are used to landing. I've gone through a ton in them and never had any problems.
