I have a big beard. Not a ZZ top, but long enough to reach the collarbone. It's unsuccessful in getting a decent seal around my face, so even full N95 compliance with masks just means air leaks out the sides and through the crevices my facial hair creates. I wear glasses. Glasses that have fogged up when wearing masks in the past. I'm also fully vaccinated so my body should be good at handling Covid (good for me and not for spreading it to others). So I was looking for a solution to an existing mask requirement (e.g. during flight) while feeling more comfortable at the expense of filtering ability. Unfortunately, this mask did not work. While the lack of elastics around my head or ears was a plus, I still had an issue with fogged glasses. Also, it was impossible to manage my entire beard with this mask. If I dropped the mask for a drink and pulled it back up, the whiskers rose with it, effectively allowing me to breathe through my beard. Neck and face still meant more retention of moisture from exhalation and perspiration in general. In any case, it was stuffier, at least in a room where there was little wind.
