I had about a dozen pairs of Cruz Sport from Fresh Foam before they were discontinued. It fit my foot perfectly and lasted forever thanks to the solid rubber outsole. Excellent shoes in every way. The Roav seems to be the direct successor of this shoe and New Balance has refined the design. A few things to watch out for: 1. These things are huge. I'm 12, my wife is 9.5. We sent both pairs back half a size smaller: 11.5 and 9 respectively. They fit much better now.2. The heel area is very wide. If you have big ankles or wide heels, you'll love them. For me they are still wide, but not so wide that they fall off.3. It is possible that these shoes can be used for running. I walk a lot and this is the perfect walking shoe. They have a lot of support and are breathable. If I tried to walk in them, they would surely fly off my feet.4. Fit is critical as they don't have a standard tongue in the shoe. These are slip-ons with laces. Overtightening causes discomfort as the boot itself is being tightened, not the tongue. Hope this is helpful! In summary, these are great shoes for walking, lounging, or shopping, but they are not made for the gym or running. Order 1/2 size smaller and expect to wear them as slip-on sneakers that are not tight fitting.
