Review on 5 Inch Action Random Orbital Sander by Jason Childs

Nothing to say if the random orbital sander works or makes snot. It's not uncommon, but it does the job I'm looking for, which is resin or lacquer finishes. Simple tool. Simple speed control. Velcro works great. I added a 5" soft sanding pad to go between the disc and paper as the sanding pad is a bit stiff for some of the things I make. Sometimes I use it with dry 40 grit paper and strip the bark off live edges and cracks. well done. Will it last a lifetime Probably not, but if it lasts a few years then it's worth it. Sometimes you can't always afford a top-notch tool, or sometimes you don't need it.
